Job Description
We are actively seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Apr 27, 2026. This role involves working day shifts, providing direct patient care, managing medical emergencies, and participating in educational activities to support our client's healthcare needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility
- Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens
- Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
- Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility
- Coordinate, lead and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
- EMR: TechCare
- Handle typical urgent care and family practice cases, including minor procedures such as suturing and I&Ds
