We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Oct 27, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and involves providing full-scope outpatient primary care for patients of all ages. Spanish-speaking ability is highly preferred to support a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver full-scope outpatient primary care in a family practice clinic setting
  • Diagnose and treat acute conditions such as colds, coughs, and flu
  • Manage behavioral health and substance abuse outpatient follow-up
  • Provide care for all ages, including geriatrics, adults, and pediatric patients
  • Conduct women's health visits and LGBTQIA patient care, including HIV and PrEP testing
  • Utilize Athenahealth EMR for patient documentation
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients, especially in geriatrics and adult care

Additional Information

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
