We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 3, 2025, with a 120-day commitment. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, serving a rural FQHC environment with volumes of 20+ patients per day. Candidates must speak Spanish, possess active California medical licensure, and be paneled with CA Medical and ORP. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population in a rural FQHC setting
- Manage volumes of 20+ patients per day, with 3 or more complaints possible per visit
- Address acute, chronic, and preventative health needs
- Apply knowledge of quality metrics and preventive care in daily practice
- Communicate effectively in Spanish with patients and staff
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
Additional Information
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in California
- Required board certification in Family Medicine
- Must be paneled with CA Medical and ORP
- Spanish fluency required
