Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Nov 1, 2025. This 10-week opportunity offers flexible scheduling for two days per week, Monday through Friday, with 8 am to 4 pm day shifts. The physician will provide care to geriatric patients in a skilled nursing home environment.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Travel between two facilities throughout the week
- Conduct admissions, discharges, and regulatory visits
- Perform rounding on patients
- Complete histories and physicals (H&Ps) on new patients
- Manage ongoing patient care
- Carry out clearance assessments before patient discharge
Additional Information
- Experience with geriatric patients required; skilled nursing home experience preferred
- Active California medical license required
- Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
