We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Dec 8, 2025, for a 22-day contract. This outpatient intergenerational health center offers primary care, dental, and dermatology services. The position features three 8-hour shifts per week, typically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, covering 20-25 patients per shift.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver comprehensive family practice primary care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting
  • Manage 20-25 patient cases per eight-hour shift
  • Provide patient coverage during the holiday period
  • Work autonomously and adapt quickly to new charting systems (Athenahealth)
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse age group

Additional Information
  • Must have an active California medical license
  • Required board certification in Family Medicine
  • Physicians require at least 2 years of experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience with Athenahealth EMR is preferred
