Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This full-time opportunity involves day shifts, Monday through Friday, in an outpatient primary care clinic setting serving patients of all ages. The role requires at least 2-3 years of experience and board certification in Family Medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages in a family practice setting
  • Oversee and manage 20-25 patient cases per eight-hour shift
  • Deliver care across a full scope of family medicine, including preventative, acute, and chronic conditions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Athenahealth EMR
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to address intergenerational health needs


Additional Information

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Family Practice Physician required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Spanish speaking preferred, not required
