Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment with our client in California, starting Dec 22, 2025. This opportunity features day shifts from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, caring for patients in a community health setting. Candidates with at least two years of experience in community health, urgent care, or family medicine are encouraged to apply, especially those who are bilingual in Spanish. Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Manage chronic and acute conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and infectious diseases
- Administer preventive care services such as immunizations, screenings, and health education
- Provide acute care for common conditions like respiratory infections, skin disorders, and injuries
- Emphasize harm reduction and continuity of care in all patient interactions
Additional Information
- Must have an active California medical license
- At least two years of experience in community health, urgent care, or family medicine preferred
- Experience working with vulnerable populations is highly desirable
- Bilingual (Spanish) providers are strongly encouraged to apply
- Epic EMR experience is a significant advantage
