Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Jun 1, 2026. This opportunity features a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, providing outpatient care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of outpatient primary care experience and hold an active, unrestricted California license.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages
  • Manage a daily patient load of 18-21 individuals
  • Deliver care in accordance with established best practices and clinical protocols
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
  • Maintain a clean background and malpractice record, as any issues may delay privileging
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed

Additional Information
  • Must have an unrestricted California medical license
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Required board certification: Family Medicine
  • Minimum of 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
  • Candidates must be able to see all ages
