Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 60-day assignment with our client in California, beginning Mar 23, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care in a rural FQHC setting, managing a diverse patient population, including a high volume of Spanish-speaking individuals, and efficiently handling 22+ patients per day within 15-minute appointment slots. The typical schedule runs from 8:30a-5p, focusing on general primary care needs and various common complaints.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide primary care services within an FQHC framework, adhering to rural health best practices.
  • Manage a high volume of patients, seeing 22+ per day in 15-minute appointment intervals.
  • Address multiple patient complaints per visit (3+ complaints possible).
  • Offer all-age primary care, including management of common ailments like cold, cough, and flu.
  • Care for a patient base that includes a significant number of Spanish-speaking patients and Medical/Medi-Cal patients.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.
  • Ability to manage a diverse patient population, including high volumes of Spanish-speaking patients.
