Job Description
Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 52-day assignment, beginning May 15, 2026. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care within an FQHC setting, requiring experience in managing a high volume of diverse patient complaints during 8:30a-5p shifts. You will provide essential care to all ages, including patients with routine illnesses, while navigating the nuances of rural health and supporting a significant Spanish-speaking population.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide primary care services within an FQHC environment, addressing fundamental healthcare needs and rural health considerations.
- Manage a high volume of patients, seeing 22 or more patients per day within 15-minute appointment slots.
- Address a wide range of patient complaints, including cold, cough, and flu, across all age groups.
- Serve a diverse patient population, including a high volume of Spanish-speaking patients and those with Medical/cade insurance.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
