We are seeking a board-certified Family Practice Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, beginning Jan 19, 2026. This role offers a balanced mix of patient care and administrative oversight, with day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in Tribal Health or Rural Health settings and possess previous senior leadership or healthcare administration experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide direct patient care 2-3 days per week, seeing an average of 10-15 patients per day
  • Perform administrative and oversight duties on non-clinical days
  • Supervise PA, NP, and APRN staff working under your license
  • Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices in a Tribal Health or Rural Health environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Additional Information
  • Board certification in family practice or internal medicine required
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Experience working with native populations is essential
  • Previous senior leadership or healthcare administration experience required
  • Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Florida
