Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Hawaii, beginning on Aug 12, 2025. This role requires managing routine exams, acute care, chronic disease management, and more, with a schedule from Tuesday to Friday and night calls on select weekdays.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct routine physical exams and assess patient health
  • Provide acute care and manage chronic diseases
  • Administer stitches, manage skin issues, and perform breathing treatments
  • Stabilize patients and coordinate transportation to emergency facilities
  • Operate medication dispensary
  • Ensure comprehensive patient care across all age groups

Additional Information
  • Required Board Certification in Family Medicine
  • Must hold a valid Hawaii state medical license
  • BLS, ACLS, DEA, PALS certifications, and current Covid vaccination required
  • Experience with Athenahealth EMR system preferred
