Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in IN

Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana beginning Dec 29, 2025. This full-time role involves caring for patients of all ages with a schedule alternating 8am-5pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 10am-7pm (Tuesday, Thursday). The assignment offers the opportunity to collaborate with advanced practice providers and contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality primary care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with up to two advanced practice providers
• Manage medications and treatment plans for patients
• Educate patients about home treatment and preventive care
• Refer patients to specialists as needed
• Ensure continuity of care between visits
• Complete charting and patient documentation in the EMR
• Participate in peer reviews
• Work in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer and medical team
• Provide care to a culturally and economically diverse patient population

Additional Information

• Must hold an active Indiana medical license
• Board certification in Family Medicine required
• Comfortable providing care for all age groups
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications required
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
