Our client in Kansas is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician to join a dynamic team for a 72-day locum tenens assignment starting Aug 4, 2025. This role requires managing 30-60 minute appointment visits, primarily serving a large Catholic community. The schedule is set for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide holistic care focusing on the overall wellbeing of patients including priests, bishops, deacons, their spouses, and children
  • Conduct appointments lasting from 30 to 60 minutes
  • Ensure sensitive handling of patient discussions, avoiding topics like family planning and contraception
  • Utilize technology effectively to adapt to a new EMR system
  • Collaborate closely with nursing and administrative staff to facilitate effective patient navigation and referrals


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
  • Other Required Certifications: Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must be culturally sensitive and respectful of the patient community’s values
  • The candidate must be male, as the clinic aims for gender balance in their physician team
  • Proficiency in using technology and EMR systems is essential
