Job Description

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 42-day assignment starting Mar 30, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and pediatric patients, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and performing routine wellness exams. The typical schedule runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm, focusing on a broad range of general family medicine cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and pediatric patients
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and URI presentations
  • Perform routine wellness exams, preventive screenings, and annual physicals
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • Perform minor in office procedures such as suturing, lesion removal, and joint injections as applicable
  • Collaborate with integrated behavioral health, dental, and care coordination teams
  • Document encounters accurately in the EMR and complete charts in a timely manner
  • Educate patients on disease management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications
  • Participate in team huddles and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed


Additional Information

  • Board Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
  • EMR: Epic
  • Experience with cases such as upper respiratory infections, asthma exacerbations, chronic disease management (hypertension, diabetes), minor injuries (lacerations, sprains), dermatologic concerns, gastrointestinal complaints, routine physicals, women’s health visits (Pap smears, contraceptive management), and behavioral health related primary care
