Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This short-term opportunity starts on Jan 28, 2026, with day shifts scheduled from 8 am to 5 pm on both Jan 28 and Jan 29. Candidates must have experience in outpatient Primary Care or Urgent Care and be prepared to step into a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide primary care and urgent care services in an outpatient setting
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform patient examinations and develop treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
  • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing therapies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using eClinicalWorks EMR

Additional Information
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient settings required
  • Active Minnesota medical license required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
  • Proficiency with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
