Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an urgent 37-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Feb 17, 2026. This role involves tending to a diverse patient panel, managing various chronic and acute conditions, and performing minor in-office procedures during standard weekday hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Tend to a diverse patient panel.
- Manage a wide range of conditions including hypertension, type 1/type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, asthma, COPD, and depression and anxiety disorders.
- Address acute issues such as upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, gastroenteritis, and minor injuries.
- Perform various in-office procedures such as IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon insertion/removal, EKG interpretation, dermatologic procedures, incision and drainage of abscesses, suturing/laceration repair, and joint injections.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
- Experience with RPMS EMR system is preferred.
