Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in NY

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a full-time, six-month locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Oct 20, 2025. The position offers 40-hour workweeks with Monday through Friday scheduling, including one late shift per week, and involves both patient care and supervision of advanced practice providers.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm with one day per week 11am–8pm

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide full-scope outpatient Family Medicine care in a busy FQHC setting
• Supervise and collaborate with four advanced practice providers (3–5 years of experience)
• Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR and AI tools to expedite charting
• Deliver care in a multi-disciplinary office that also offers dental and mental health services
• Ensure compliance with all payer requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Maintain high standards of patient care and documentation

Additional Information

• New York medical license required
• Must be board certified in Family Medicine
• Enrollment with New York State Medicare and Medicaid payers required
• Experience in FQHC settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, especially eClinicalWorks, is essential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• No administrative hours are included in this assignment
