Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This opportunity begins Nov 5, 2025, and spans a 2-day contract, with shifts scheduled on Nov 5 from 12pm-4pm and Nov 6 from 8am-12pm. The physician will join a team conducting firefighter physicals, including vision and hearing screenings, EKGs, and hands-on examinations. Candidates with firefighter physical experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform firefighter physical examinations
  • Conduct vision screenings, color blindness testing, and pupil reaction assessments
  • Evaluate patients' peripheral vision
  • Administer hearing tests
  • Perform hands-on physical assessments and EKGs

Additional Information
  • Ohio medical license required
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Occupational Medicine required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Firefighter physical experience strongly preferred
  • No CDL/DOT examinations required
