Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This role commences on Aug 4, 2025, with a schedule of full-time day shifts from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will act as the Medical Director, overseeing APPs and engaging in diverse clinical duties including daily infirmary rounds and weekly rounds in restricted housing units.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the Acting Medical Director, overseeing 2-3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Conduct daily infirmary rounds
  • Perform weekly rounds in restricted housing units
  • Provide consultations for physicals, emergencies, and admissions
  • Manage common acute issues such as colds, coughs, flu, sutures, and splinting
  • Engage in regular charting activities
  • Review EMR queues and manage lab and x-ray results
