Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in PA

Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Nov 17, 2025. This full-time role features day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Prior corrections experience is a plus, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct daily infirmary rounds in the morning
• Perform rounding in restricted housing units
• Manage sick call cases
• Provide physical examinations, emergency consults, and admissions consults
• Complete patient charting and review EMR queues
• Review laboratory and x-ray results

Additional Information

• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania medical license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Corrections experience is a plus
