Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 68-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Pennsylvania. This opportunity begins on Dec 15, 2025, and offers a full-time Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts from 7:30am to 4pm. The physician will supervise advanced practice providers and provide both chronic and preventative care in a medium security correctional facility.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs)
  • Conduct sick call and patient rounding
  • Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-up visits
  • Operate preventative care clinics
  • Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed
  • Provide trauma triage services
  • Complete charting and documentation
  • Handle medication refills and address medication non-compliance with patients


Additional Information

  • Pennsylvania license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Correctional experience is a plus
