Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in PA

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 60-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Apr 13, 2026. This full-time role operates from 7:30am to 4pm, involving daily sick call rounds, weekly restricted housing unit rounds, and a variety of consults. The Physician will manage general medical cases including sutures, splinting, and common ailments, along with medication and chronic care management, and conducting physical examinations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct daily sick call rounds
• Perform weekly restricted housing unit rounds
• Manage physicals, consults, emergency consults, and admissions consults
• Handle general medical cases including cold, cough, flu, bronchitis, pain, sutures, splinting, and IV treatments
• Conduct intake evaluations for new patients
• Oversee medication management
• Lead preventative health clinics and chronic care management
• Review EMR queues, lab, and x-ray results
• Complete charting and documentation
