Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct initial and annual physical examinations, including pap smears
- Initial evaluations for patients on methadone before referral to MAT programs
- Attend to sick calls and assist nursing staff with patient rounding
- Manage chronic care and preventative care follow-ups
- Handle minimal trauma triage, including suturing and splinting
- Maintain accurate patient charts, manage medication refills and address medication non-compliance
Additional Information
- Required Board Certification: Family Medicine
- Must hold a valid Tennessee medical license
- Experience in woman's health and correctional facilities preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Familiarity with Nextgen EMR system
