Job Description
We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 72-day assignment in Virginia, starting Apr 1, 2026. The client is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team, working Mon-Fri 8am-7pm and Sat 8am-3pm. In this role, you will perform physical exams, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform physical exams
- Order or perform diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications
- Develop treatment plans
- Treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Address family practice cases including colds, coughs, hypertension, UTIs, STIs, and sports physicals
- Manage urgent care-type visits such as lacerations, minor injuries, trauma, suturing, and ingrown toenail removal
- Provide women's health services, including Pap smears, on occasion
