We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Washington. This opportunity starts on Sep 22, 2025, and spans 120 days, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9am to 6pm. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide care for patients with chronic and acute issues in a walk-in clinic setting when primary care providers are booked out
- Collaborate with the Emergency Room department to ensure appropriate patient care levels
- Supervise and mentor medical students, nurse practitioner students, and physician assistant students as assigned
- Participate in handoff with outgoing locum provider for smooth transition of care
Additional Information
- Minimum 3 years of Family Practice experience, including rural health
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Washington state license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Teaching experience or interest in working with students is beneficial
- Start date is flexible by one week if necessary to accommodate transition
