Responsibilities and Duties
Provide care for patients with chronic and acute issues in a walk-in clinic setting when primary care providers are booked out
Collaborate with the Emergency Room department to ensure appropriate patient care levels
Supervise and mentor medical students, nurse practitioner students, and physician assistant students as assigned
Participate in handoff with outgoing locum provider for smooth transition of care
Additional Information
Minimum 3 years of Family Practice experience, including rural health
Board certification in Family Medicine required
Washington state license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Teaching experience or interest in working with students is beneficial
Start date is flexible by one week if necessary to accommodate transition
