We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Washington. This opportunity starts Jan 12, 2026, and spans 80 days, offering a Monday through Friday schedule with one Saturday shift per month. The ideal candidate will have at least two years post-residency experience, including hands-on care for newborns, and must have a background in community health center settings.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a strong emphasis on newborn treatment
• Deliver care within a community health center environment
• Perform patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Centricity EMR
• Adhere to all required clinical protocols and best practices

Additional Information

• Minimum of 2 years out of residency required
• Prior experience in community health center settings is mandatory
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Board certification in Family Medicine required
• Must hold a current Washington state medical license
• Experience with newborn care is highly preferred and critical for selection
