Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 65-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Wisconsin. This opportunity starts Dec 15, 2025, and offers a full-time schedule of day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm. The assignment will focus on comprehensive care duties including daily infirmary rounds, sick call, and consults in a correctional or urgent care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct daily infirmary rounds in the morning
  • Perform rounding in restricted housing units
  • Manage sick call visits
  • Complete physicals, emergency consults, and admissions consults
  • Perform charting and documentation
  • Make referrals as needed
  • Review EMR queue, lab results, and x-rays


Additional Information

  • Wisconsin medical license required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Urgent care or correctional healthcare experience preferred
