Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This opportunity begins on Dec 5, 2025, with a one-day assignment consisting of an 8-hour shift from 7am to 3pm in an outpatient primary care or urgent care setting. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide high-quality primary and urgent care services in an outpatient setting
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform routine examinations and preventive care
  • Document patient care using Athenahealth EMR
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards

Additional Information
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient settings required
  • Active Wisconsin license and DEA registration required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Must be licensed to practice in Minnesota as well
