We are seeking a Forensic Pathologist for a locum tenens assignment in Missouri, starting Dec 22, 2025. This 3-week opportunity offers flexible morning start times and day shifts, Monday through Friday. The role involves performing autopsies for a diverse patient population, including mandatory cases for infants 1 to 12 weeks of age, and handling 3-4 cases per day.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform forensic autopsies on patients ranging from infants (1 week old) to the elderly
  • Complete toxicology screening for all cases; mandatory for infant autopsies and drug-related deaths
  • Conduct X-rays for gunshot wound cases
  • Determine when to order slides for natural cases, such as GI bleeds
  • Request histology for questionable cancer or natural cases, with tissue saved for every case
  • Ensure certification for child death pathology to perform autopsies on infants
  • Manage 3–4 cases per day
