Job Description

We are seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for an 84-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Apr 6, 2026. This opportunity features a 7 on / 7 off schedule with day shifts from 7 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in GI or hospital-based medicine and provide inpatient consults, coordinate with hospital medicine, and support the endoscopy lab.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform inpatient GI consults and follow-ups for acute care patients
  • Set up patients pre- and post-procedure
  • Work closely with the endoscopy lab
  • Coordinate care with the hospital medicine service

Additional Information
  • Active Arizona NP license required
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Prior experience in GI or hospital-based medicine preferred
