Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Nov 24, 2025, for a 159-day contract, offering day shifts Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of gastroenterology experience, an active NY license, and active BLS certification. Familiarity with EPIC is highly preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive gastroenterology patient care under physician supervision
  • Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations related to gastroenterology
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement patient management plans
  • Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to all facility protocols and regulatory requirements

Additional Information
  • Must have at least 3 years of gastroenterology experience as outlined on CV
  • Active NY license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • EPIC experience highly preferred
