We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity starts on Dec 1, 2025, and spans 120 days, offering a flexible schedule with 8am-6pm shifts and a preferred 7 on 7 off rotation. Join a collaborative team to provide pre-op and post-op inpatient care, including rounding, consults, and assisting physicians with bedside procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform rounding and inpatient consults in gastroenterology
  • Assist the physician with bedside procedures
  • Deliver pre-op and post-op patient care
  • Collaborate closely with the medical team to optimize patient outcomes

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Gastroenterology (NCCPA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Illinois state license required
  • Open to splitting the schedule between two providers, each covering at least 7 shifts monthly
