We are seeking a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia, beginning Dec 23, 2025. This opportunity spans a 4-day assignment with 7AM to 6PM shifts. Join our client’s team to provide specialized gastroenterology care during a focused contract period.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide gastroenterology clinical care under physician supervision
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with GI conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to gastroenterology
  • Assist in procedures and follow up with patients as needed
  • Document clinical findings using the Epic EMR system
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Additional Information
  • Active Virginia Physician Assistant license required
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
