 We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position at a hospital in California. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 1-2 weeks per month, starting from 09/08/2025, with a potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with Advanced GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS. The role involves a mix of outpatient procedures, inpatient consultations, and weekend on-call duties. LOA: 100 days (with potential for extension)

Provider Type Needed: Gastroenterologist

Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month (7-14 days)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform outpatient procedures Monday-Thursday, 7:15 AM - 12:30 PM

• Handle inpatient biliary service Monday-Thursday afternoons and Friday-Sunday

• Conduct 3-4 outpatient procedures each morning, Monday-Thursday

• Manage 0-4 inpatient consults/procedures per day

• Provide callback coverage Saturday-Sunday, 8 AM - 5 PM (no night calls)

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system

• Demonstrate proficiency in Advanced GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS
