Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in California beginning on Sep 26, 2025. This urgent opportunity involves a combination of Monday-Friday clinic hours (8am-5pm), 24-hour call coverage for weeknights and weekends, and inpatient consults and procedures. Flexible scheduling is available between Sep 26 and Oct 10, 2025.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient gastroenterology consults and procedures during on-call shifts
  • Conduct outpatient clinic appointments in the afternoons, including routine follow-ups
  • Perform endoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, and double procedures
  • Complete routine consults and procedures as required
  • ERCP is preferred but not required

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology required
  • Must hold an active California medical license
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Assignment uses a non-Aspen EMR system
