We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for a 7-day inpatient locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts, starting Dec 19, 2025. This opportunity features a Friday-to-Friday call structure with responsibilities across the floor, ED, ICU, and includes emergent consults and endoscopies as needed. Candidates must have an active MA license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities and Duties
Perform esophageal dilatation and manometry
Interpret esophageal manometry studies
Conduct small bowel biopsies
Perform lower GI endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy
Conduct colonoscopies
Perform liver biopsies
Provide care for adult inpatients in hospital, gastroenterology, and endoscopy settings
Respond to emergent consults and procedures as required
Additional Information
Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology required; BC preferred
Active Massachusetts medical license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
ERCP certification is a plus but not mandatory
No outpatient gastroenterology or internal medicine responsibilities
