Job Description
We are seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for a 176-day assignment in Maryland, starting May 4, 2026. The client requires a full-time professional to primarily focus on procedures Monday through Friday, with call duties one weekend per month. This role involves performing 14-16 procedures daily, covering general gastroenterology cases, and managing emergency calls with a swift response time.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide full-time coverage, Monday through Friday.
- Perform 14-16 procedures per day.
- Focus on procedures and call duties; no outpatient responsibilities.
- Participate in call schedule one weekend per month.
- Maintain a 15-minute response time for calls.
- Handle an average of 3 phone consults and 1 admission during call.
- Conduct general gastroenterology procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy.
- ERCP/EUS experience is preferred but not required.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required.
