Job Description

We are seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for a 176-day assignment in Maryland, starting May 4, 2026. The client requires a full-time professional to primarily focus on procedures Monday through Friday, with call duties one weekend per month. This role involves performing 14-16 procedures daily, covering general gastroenterology cases, and managing emergency calls with a swift response time.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full-time coverage, Monday through Friday.
  • Perform 14-16 procedures per day.
  • Focus on procedures and call duties; no outpatient responsibilities.
  • Participate in call schedule one weekend per month.
  • Maintain a 15-minute response time for calls.
  • Handle an average of 3 phone consults and 1 admission during call.
  • Conduct general gastroenterology procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy.
  • ERCP/EUS experience is preferred but not required.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required.
  • EMR System: Epic.
