Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for a 91-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Mar 16, 2026. This opportunity offers fixed day shifts on Mondays and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with no night or weekend call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will provide both outpatient and hospital-based GI procedures, contributing vital expertise to our client’s patient care team.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform outpatient and hospital-based GI procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and advanced GI procedures
  • Provide high-quality gastroenterology care in a collaborative clinical environment
  • Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards
  • Document clinical findings and procedures in the EMR system

Additional Information
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology required
  • Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology required
  • Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred
  • Mileage reimbursement available for local providers
