Job Description

Our client in NY is actively seeking a Gastroenterologist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves a consistent 8a-5p schedule, focusing heavily on clinic duties with optional call. The Physician will handle a variety of procedures including colonoscopies, upper GI endoscopies, and anoscopies.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services in a clinic setting.
  • Perform procedures including Anoscopy & Hemorrhoid Treatment, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Foreign Body Removal, Endoscopic Homeostasis & Sclerotherapy, Endoscopic Polypectomy, Esophageal Dilation, Laparoscopy & Liver Biopsy, Mucosal Biopsy, Proctoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Upper & Lower Gastro Series, and Upper GI Endoscopy.
  • Call duties are optional for this assignment.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
