Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting on Sep 29, 2025. This position offers a flexible Monday and Tuesday or Monday and Friday schedule with shifts from 8am to 4pm, focusing on outpatient GI cases with healthy patients in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures
  • Provide outpatient GI care for healthy patients
  • Conduct therapeutic interventions within the scope of general surgery
  • Manage scopes and clinical responsibilities as scheduled
  • Utilize Demerol as needed for procedures
  • Exclude cases involving banding, ERCP, or EUS

Additional Information
  • Must hold a valid Ohio medical license
  • Required board certifications: Gastroenterology, Surgery, General Surgery
  • Previous experience with Demerol preferred
