We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio beginning Nov 24, 2025. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no call requirements. This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible physician interested in a focused inpatient assignment handling a high volume of GI procedures and consults.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform an average of 6 inpatient GI procedures daily (approx. 182 per month)
  • Conduct initial GI consult visits (approx. 12 per day; 351 per month)
  • Manage follow-up GI consult visits (approx. 21 per day; 621 per month)
  • Respond to patient messages (average of 4 per day)
  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality inpatient GI care

Additional Information
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Ohio medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications required
