The role offers flexible scheduling, with daily shifts structured around patient volume, ranging from 4-hour morning scopes to comprehensive 8-hour days.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with filling schedule gaps where faculty physicians may be double-booked.
  • Perform upper and lower scopes.
  • Refrain from advanced procedures such as ERCP or EUS.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certification: Gastroenterology.
  • EMR: Epic.
  • Shift hours are determined by patient volume, typically involving 4-hour days for morning scopes (5-8 scopes) or 8-hour days that include morning and additional afternoon scopes.
