 We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in West Virginia. This 60-day assignment begins on 09/08/2025, and requires coverage for 7-10 shifts per month, including 24-hour call and rounding. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with inpatient rounding, performing scopes, endoscopies, and EUS/ERCP procedures. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Perform rounds on the inpatient unit

• Conduct various procedures including scopes, endoscopies, EUS, and ERCP

• Manage 24-hour on-call duties as scheduled

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in West Virginia

• Board certification in Gastroenterology required
