 We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for a 100-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in West Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive gastroenterological care, starting 09/01/2025. This opportunity involves working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with night call and potential weekend call. Responsibilities include conducting new patient visits and follow-ups in the clinic, performing scopes and endoscopies. The position requires proficiency in Epic software and an active West Virginia medical license. This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic hospital setting, handling a variety of gastroenterological cases, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct new patient visits and follow-ups in the clinic
• Perform gastroenterological procedures including scopes and endoscopies
• Diagnose and treat various gastrointestinal conditions and diseases
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Utilize Epic software for patient management and record-keeping
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure efficient operations
• Provide patient education on gastrointestinal health and disease prevention
• Handle night call duties and potential weekend call as required
• Stay updated on the latest gastroenterological treatments and technologies

Additional Information:

• Active West Virginia medical license required
