Job Description

Our client in Illinois is seeking a skilled General Diagnostic Radiologist for an urgent 60-day assignment, commencing Jul 27, 2026. This role requires an ability to read CTP stroke protocol and involves a busy schedule of approximately 70-80 reads per 8-hour period, ensuring efficient handling of stroke alerts, ED stats, and inpatient studies with critical result communication.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform diagnostic imaging interpretations, averaging 70-80 reads per 8-hour period.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in reading CTP stroke protocol.
  • Manage stroke alerts with a target turnaround time of 20 minutes.
  • Interpret ED stats within 30-60 minutes.
  • Complete inpatient stats within 60 minutes.
  • Communicate critical results within 60 minutes.
  • Ensure inpatient complete read turnaround time is under 4 hours.
  • Maintain outpatient complete read turnaround time under 6 hours.
  • Interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging, primarily plain film studies.
  • Utilize GE PACS system for image management.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
