Job Description

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico starting Jan 5, 2026. This role offers a Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule and focuses on broad diagnostic imaging, with optional participation in emergency or trauma imaging based on your interests and training.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide diagnostic imaging services across multiple specialties (excluding interventional unless desired)
  • Optionally participate in emergency radiology (evening or overnight shifts with compensatory time)
  • Engage in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences as interested
  • Teach and mentor medical students, radiology residents, and fellows
  • Participate in clinical consultations within Trauma Center and NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center
  • Utilize translational imaging and image processing resources for research involvement
  • Collaborate with dedicated research and publication staff


Additional Information

  • Must hold active New Mexico medical license
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology required
  • Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) certification required
  • Experience with both adult and pediatric diagnostic imaging is valued
  • Cerner EMR system used
