We are seeking an experienced General Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Mar 2, 2026. The schedule offers weekday day shifts (either Monday-Friday or Monday-Thursday) with occasional weeknight and weekend call. The assignment requires board certification, recent Epic experience, and the ability to manage trauma and general/robotic surgery cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
First assist in the operating room for general and robotic surgery cases
Provide trauma care at a Level III trauma center
Cover floor duties if present for an extended period
Participate in weekend rounding and call nights as required
Manage increased call shifts during the first week of April due to vacation schedules
Additional Information
Must be board certified in General Surgery
Active New York license required
Recent Epic EMR experience is mandatory
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Orthopedic experience is a plus
