Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant - Surgery - General for a 36-day assignment in Maryland, starting Jun 1, 2026. This nocturnist role involves comprehensive general surgery APP coverage, including cross-coverage of various inpatient floors from 5pm-6am daily. The Physician Assistant will primarily focus on monitoring post-op patients and completing H&Ps for new surgical admissions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• General surgery nocturnist APP coverage.
• Cross coverage of inpatient floors: General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Gastroenterology.
• Monitor post-op surgery patients.
• Perform H&Ps on new surgical admissions.
• No procedures or first assist required.
• Collaborate with on-call attending as needed.
