Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour call coverage for trauma or acute care surgery
Conduct inpatient rounds and complete charting
Perform surgeries in the operating room as assigned
Manage ER consults and hospital consults
See patients in clinic (up to twice weekly)
Oversee acute fracture management and upper extremity cases (preferred)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
Additional Information
SCC certification or ICU management experience required
Acute fracture experience required
Three or more years of experience preferred
Trauma/Surgical Critical Care fellowship preferred
Interest in upper extremity work preferred
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Fluoroscopy Certification required
Must be board certified in General Surgery
California medical license required
